We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our brand-new school library on World Book Day! This exciting project has been a labour of love, and we can't wait to unveil the new space to our children.

As part of the celebrations, the winners of the hat/headband competition will be awarded their voucher prizes in the new library. These lucky children will also be the first to explore the new space and enjoy a special story together.

In addition, Year 6 students will select stories from the new library to read to younger classes during the afternoon. This will be a wonderful opportunity for them to share their love of reading and inspire younger students.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the PTA for their generous donation of £3000 towards books for the library. Their support has been instrumental in filling our shelves with new, incredible, and inspiring books.

Moving forward, all classes will have regular library sessions where they can borrow books to take home and enjoy. This initiative aims to foster a love of reading and ensure that every child has access to a wide range of literature.

World Book Day and our library opening promise to be truly exciting and memorable events. We look forward to celebrating with our school community!
