COVID Recovery
As a Trust we recognise the hard work and contribution parents, carers and families have given our children during these uncertain times. In our schools we have been working hard to consider any gaps in learning.
Within the Fierté Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen; using accumulated reserves, an opportunity has been created to support our learners. It is important to note that this is completely separate from any Government initiative and applies to many of our pupils in addressing gaps in learning. Rebecca Harris, Trust Intervention Manager for Excellence, will be overseeing this initiative across the Trust and Mrs Williams in this school.
We will be running after or before school tutoring sessions for specific pupils. Programmes will run over a specific number of weeks for individual pupils across the academic year. If we contact you about this, please do not worry, this does not mean your child has necessarily fallen behind but that we have identified an area that we can support them in that will help further accelerate their learning.
This project works with pupils regardless of their current achievement levels, and will embed supporting their wellbeing.
It is an exciting project that we hope, as families you support us in.
Many thanks,
Rebecca Harris
