Year 6 Explore Circulatory System with Sheep Heart Dissection
This week, Year 6 concluded their science unit on the circulatory system by getting up close and personal with a real-life sheep heart. The children were curious to see how it compared to what they had learned about the human circulatory system, so they carefully dissected it in their classes and made detailed observations.
It was fantastic to witness the enthusiasm of the children towards this practical piece of learning. Their curiosity and engagement were evident as they explored the anatomy of the sheep heart. This hands-on experience will hopefully be something they remember for a long time.
Well done, Year 6, for your dedication and keen interest in science!
